Dear Congressman,
As a citizen concerned about the future of our nation and the well-being of the rising generation, I ask you to support the Marriage Protection Amendment when considered by the House in July. The strength of a nation depends on the stability of its families and an overwhelming majority of Americans are committed to traditional marriage.
As citizens, we deserve the right to have our voices heard, rather than have the institution of marriage undermined by court decisions as it was in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Nebraska. Our children deserve both a mother and a father, and in any way diluting the social institution that makes that possible is an assault upon the future. A vote for the Marriage Protection Amendment is a vote for our children. Thank you.
